All of this event was organised by a couple of club members from the comfort of home and the PC. The internet was used to find the accommodation and AutoRoute was used to plan the runs for each day. Below is the front and first page of the road book that was given to all who were taking part in the event.

Southern Scotland Weekend Tour
Welcome to the clubs second weekend adventure, this time based at the “Park Hotel” in Peebles. With Edinburgh 22 miles North, Glasgow 50 miles North West and Gretna Green 60 miles South we are fairly close to the heart of Southern Scotland and surrounded by some beautiful scenery. This road book contains planned routes for each of the days, to which all of you are invited to take part in, but please feel free to do your own thing if you wish. The routes are for guidance only as they have not been tested, but hopefully will get us all to our planned destinations. The general plan for the weekend is as follows:-
Friday. Aim to arrive at the Park Hotel for around 6:00pm in time for drinks, shower and dinner.
Saturday & Sunday. A run out for the day, leave the Hotel 10:00ish, scenic route to a suitable long lunch stop, continue route to possible afternoon tea stop, then continue the route back to hotel in time for drinks, shower and dinner followed by possibly more drinks. For those joining us on Saturday, we will be at Moffat House for lunch at about 13:00
Monday. Leave the Hotel 10:00ish for a leisurely scenic run back south away from motorways etc.
